Thank You, James – and Good Luck for the Next Chapter

At the end of July, we said goodbye to James Harris after four years with REAL Success, as he begins an exciting new chapter.

James is pursuing his long-standing interest in sport and nutrition, beginning with a period of study at university before embarking on a new career in Sports Nutrition.

James joined REAL Success in 2022 following a career in retail and quickly made his mark. He played a significant role in developing our recruitment division and helped us challenge some of the traditional approaches to recruitment in agriculture.

For James, good recruitment was never simply about filling a vacancy. He encouraged clients to think about the person they needed, the culture of their farm, how they presented themselves as an employer and whether someone would genuinely fit within the team. His work helped establish new standards for on-farm recruitment and contributed to positioning REAL Success as a leader in people development within agriculture.

His pragmatic approach, genuine warmth and ability to build relationships made him popular with clients and colleagues alike.

On a personal note, having my son alongside me for an important four years in the development of REAL Success has been very special. He has been an enormous support to me, and I’m immensely proud of what he has achieved.

It also seems fitting that a business which encourages people to develop their potential should celebrate James doing exactly that.

Thank you, James, for everything you have contributed. We will miss you, but we wish you every success for the next chapter.
